Supplement — jointhesport.com

These Terms set out the shared framework for sportagvalasztoteszt.hu and jointhesport.com. For jointhesport.com, the following applies in particular:

• By creating and using a user account on the site, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
• Registration, use of content, newsletter and other features is governed by these Terms and applicable law.
• Sport interest selections are optional; they can be changed in the user account and privacy settings, and related consent may be withdrawn.

1. General Provisions

1.1. Purpose of this Document

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the services available on the jointhesport.com website and the related sportagvalasztoteszt.hu website (collectively, the "Website" or "Websites"). By using the Websites, the User accepts the provisions of these Terms.

1.2. Service Provider Details

1.3. Governing Laws

These Terms and the services provided by the Service Provider are governed in particular by the following laws:

• Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code;
• Act CVIII of 2001 on Certain Issues of Electronic Commerce Services and Information Society Services;
• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR);
• Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information;
• Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection;
• Act XLVIII of 2008 on the Basic Requirements and Certain Restrictions of Commercial Advertising Activities.

2. Description of the Service

2.1. Purpose of the Website

jointhesport.com is a bilingual (Hungarian/English) digital sports selection and sports encyclopedia platform that helps young people, parents, coaches and sports enthusiasts discover sports. The related sportagvalasztoteszt.hu is a Hungarian-language sports recommendation web application whose primary purpose is to help users find the sport most suitable for them from 24 categories through an interactive, multi-step, weighted questionnaire algorithm.

2.2. Main Elements of the Service

The Website provides the following services:

a) Sports Selection Test (questionnaire): An interactive, multi-step questionnaire in which the user answers questions in order to receive a personalized sports recommendation. The questionnaire is evaluated by a weighted scoring algorithm.

b) Display of results: After completing the questionnaire, the user can view the result on the Website, including the recommended sports, their scores and a visual representation (chart).

c) Sending the result by email: The user may request that the result be sent to the email address provided by the user.

d) Newsletter subscription: In the final step of the questionnaire, the user may subscribe to the jointhesport.com newsletter, through which the user may receive sports tips, updates and content related to the selected sport.

e) Multilingual interface: The Website is available in Hungarian (primary) and English.

2.3. Price of the Service

The Website and the Sports Selection Test are free of charge. The Service Provider reserves the right to introduce premium services in the future, about which users will be informed in advance.

2.4. Nature of the Service

The Website provides an information society service within the meaning of the E-Commerce Act. The questionnaire result is for information and recommendation purposes only and does not replace the opinion of a physician, sports medicine specialist, coach or any other professional.

3. Conditions of Use

3.1. Eligible Users

The services of the Website may be used by any natural person. Registration is not required to complete the questionnaire. To receive results by email and to subscribe to the newsletter, an email address must be provided.

3.2. Minor Users

Completion of the questionnaire is not subject to any age restriction. To provide an email address (for result delivery or newsletter subscription), persons under 16 years of age must have parental or legal guardian consent in accordance with Article 8 GDPR and Section 6(3) of the Info Act.

3.3. User Obligations

When using the Website, the User shall:

• use the Website as intended;
• respect the rights and legitimate interests of third parties;
• comply with applicable laws;
• provide true and accurate data (especially with regard to the email address);
• refrain from obstructing or disrupting the operation of the Website (for example by automated queries, bot activity or DoS attacks).

3.4. Prohibited Activities

In particular, the User is prohibited from:

• copying, distributing or modifying the content of the Website without authorization;
• circumventing or bypassing the Website's security measures (including reCAPTCHA protection);
• overloading the Website or its infrastructure with automated tools;
• collecting other users' data without authorization;
• gaining or attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website;
• falsifying questionnaire results or manipulating the scoring algorithm;
• providing false, misleading or third-party infringing data.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. Copyright

All content on the Website, including but not limited to texts, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video materials, software, database structure, questionnaire questions and the evaluation algorithm, is the intellectual property of the Service Provider and is protected by Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright and the applicable international copyright conventions.

4.2. License to Use

The Service Provider grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes. The User is entitled to complete the questionnaire, view the result and use the User's own result for personal purposes.

4.3. Restrictions

Without the Service Provider's prior written consent, the User is not entitled to:

• copy, reproduce or distribute the content of the Website in whole or in part;
• use the questionnaire questions, structure or algorithmic logic in another service;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Website's source code;
• use the names "Sportag Valaszto Teszt", "sportagvalasztoteszt.hu" or "JoinTheSport" for commercial purposes.

5. Newsletter

5.1. Subscription

At the final step of the questionnaire, the User may subscribe to the jointhesport.com newsletter. Subscription is voluntary and is not a condition of using the service. To subscribe, the User must provide an email address and give express consent.

5.2. Newsletter Content

The newsletter may include:

• sports tips and training advice;
• updates related to the sport selected by the user;
• news and developments concerning the jointhesport.com website;
• sports club recommendations and events.

5.3. Unsubscribe

The User may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, without giving reasons:

• by using the unsubscribe link contained in the newsletter; or
• by sending a request by email to info@jointhesport.com.

The right to unsubscribe also follows from Section 6 of Act XLVIII of 2008 on the Basic Requirements and Certain Restrictions of Commercial Advertising Activities.

5.4. Data Processing

Detailed information on data processing related to the newsletter is set out in the Privacy Policy, available at https://jointhesport.com/en/privacy-policy.

6. Liability

6.1. Liability of the Service Provider

The Service Provider makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the Website operates continuously and without errors; however, the Website is provided on an "as is" basis. The Service Provider shall not be liable for:

• temporary unavailability of the Website resulting from maintenance, technical failure, force majeure or any cause beyond the Service Provider's control;
• the accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose of questionnaire results, as the result is only an indicative recommendation;
• any damage arising from decisions made by the User on the basis of the questionnaire result, including personal injury resulting from sports activity;
• technical faults or data loss affecting the User's device;
• the content of third-party websites linked from the Website;
• the operation or data processing practices of Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA, Gmail SMTP or Sentry.

The above limitation of liability does not apply to compensation liability under Article 82 GDPR in relation to the processing of personal data. The Data Controller remains liable for damage resulting from unlawful processing of personal data or breach of data security obligations in accordance with the GDPR and the Info Act.

6.2. Liability of the User

The User is responsible for:

• the truthfulness and accuracy of the data provided by the User;
• using the Website in accordance with these Terms;
• activities carried out by the User on or through the Website;
• obtaining appropriate medical clearance before starting sports activity; the Service Provider assumes no responsibility in this respect.

6.3. Force Majeure

The Service Provider shall not be liable for service interruptions or damage caused by force majeure events, including in particular natural disasters, acts of war, epidemics, governmental measures, strikes, outages affecting server infrastructure, internet network failures or cyberattacks.

7. Relationship Between jointhesport.com and sportagvalasztoteszt.hu

7.1. Relationship Between the Two Websites

jointhesport.com is the primary platform and sportagvalasztoteszt.hu operates as its supplementary service. The two websites are operated by the same Service Provider (Janos Nagy) but are technically separate applications.

7.2. Shared Policies

Both Websites are governed by these Terms and the shared Privacy Policy.

7.3. Data Transfer

Any transfer of data between the two websites, in particular in connection with newsletter subscription, takes place only with the User's explicit consent. Details of such transfer are set out in the Privacy Policy.

8. Complaints and Enforcement

8.1. Complaints Handling

The User may submit complaints relating to the Website using the following contact details:

The Service Provider will investigate the complaint within 30 days of receipt and inform the User of the outcome in writing.

8.2. Consumer Protection Remedies

If the User qualifies as a consumer and the complaint is not resolved satisfactorily by the Service Provider, the User may turn to the following bodies:

a) Consumer protection authority:

The competent consumer protection department of the relevant government office (district office). A list of the competent government offices is available at https://www.kormanyhivatal.hu.

b) Conciliation body:

The User may initiate proceedings before the conciliation body competent for the User's domicile or place of residence. A list of conciliation bodies and their contact details is available at https://bekeltetes.hu.

The Service Provider informs the User that, although the Website's services are free of charge, where the legal relationship falls within the scope of Hungarian consumer protection rules, the Service Provider, acting as a private individual, is subject to the duty to cooperate in conciliation proceedings under Section 36/B of the Consumer Protection Act.

c) EU online dispute resolution platform:

The former EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on July 20, 2025 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and is no longer available. Consumers may use the other complaint handling and dispute resolution channels listed above.

8.3. Judicial Enforcement

In case of a legal dispute, the User may bring proceedings before the competent Hungarian court for the User's domicile or place of residence. Hungarian law shall govern such disputes.

9. Data Protection

Detailed information about the processing of personal data carried out in connection with the use of the Websites is set out in the Privacy Policy, available at https://jointhesport.com/en/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.

10. Service Availability and Maintenance

10.1. Availability

The Service Provider makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the Website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10.2. Maintenance

The Service Provider is entitled to suspend operation of the Website for maintenance, development, security updates or other technical reasons. Where possible, users will be informed in advance of planned maintenance through a notice on the Website.

10.3. Termination of the Service

The Service Provider may discontinue operation of the Website in whole or in part upon at least 30 days' prior notice. In the event of termination, the Service Provider will process the personal data of affected users in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law, and will delete such data after the relevant retention periods expire. Users subscribed to the newsletter will also be informed of the termination by email.

11. Amendment of the Terms

11.1. Right to Amend

The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms unilaterally. Amendments become effective upon publication on the Website.

11.2. Notice

The Service Provider will inform users of material amendments to the Terms by means of a notice displayed on the Website and, in the case of users subscribed to the newsletter, also by email.

11.3. Acceptance

Continued use after publication of the amended Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes. In the event of a material amendment detrimental to the User, the Service Provider will provide notice at least 30 days before the amendment takes effect, in the spirit of Section 8 of the E-Commerce Act, and will allow the User to cease using the service. If the User does not accept the amendment, the User is entitled to stop using the service.

11.4. Previous Versions

Previous versions of these Terms are available on request by email at info@jointhesport.com.

12. Final Provisions

12.1. Partial Invalidity

If any provision of these Terms is invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a lawful provision that most closely reflects the economic purpose of the original provision.

12.2. Governing Law

These Terms and all legal relationships arising out of them shall be governed by Hungarian law.

12.3. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall fall within the jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts.

12.4. Language Versions

These Terms are prepared in Hungarian and English. In the event of any discrepancy, the Hungarian-language version shall prevail.

12.5. Entry into Force

These Terms enter into force on April 8, 2026 and remain valid until withdrawn.
