5 tips for morning workouts - How to become an early bird

Morning exercise is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It wakes you up, gives you energy for the whole day, and guarantees that your workout won't be skipped.

1. Prepare the night before

Lay out your workout clothes, shoes and all necessary equipment the night before. The fewer decisions you have to make in the morning, the easier it will be to get going.

2. Gradually set your alarm earlier

Don't try to wake up 2 hours earlier right away. Set your alarm 15 minutes earlier each week until you reach the desired time.

3. Find a workout buddy

If someone is waiting for you, it's much harder to cancel the workout. Find a friend or family member to train with in the morning.

4. Reward yourself

After your workout, reward yourself with something you enjoy: a nice coffee, a good breakfast, or simply the feeling that you've already done your daily exercise.

5. Be patient

Forming a new habit usually takes 21-66 days. Don't give up after the first difficult days!
